Our History
MCG Accountants has grown to become one of the region's most successful accountants and tax consultancy offices. From simple beginnings, when we were helping the region's self-employed to file their tax returns, we have developed an excellent reputation for providing accountancy services and sorting out tax questions for both individual clients and businesses.

Key Milestones

1996: Foundation - Martin C Glass Accountants opened its doors, establishing the foundation of what would become a trusted name in accountancy services.

2000: Strategic Merger - The practice expanded through a strategic merger with an established accountancy practice in Prestwich, operating initially under the name Warents and later as Warents Feingold & Co. This merger enhanced our expertise and broadened our service capabilities.

2025: New Headquarters - Marking a significant chapter in our development, we proudly opened our new office at 247 Bury Old Road, Prestwich, Manchester M25 1JE. Now trading as MCG Accountants Ltd

Professional Career
One of the founding partners of Warents Feingold & Co, Martin joined the practice in 2000 after working for a medium-sized practice in Manchester City centre for 13 years and then setting up his own practice and working as a sole practitioner for 5 years.
Martin decided to join the company after gaining several years of experience in his own accounting company.
He has always been interested in general accountancy and prides himself on being fully aware of clients' needs and tailoring advice accordingly.
